WOW is all I have to say! You continue to make me proud of you girls. I saw the video and I heard how wonderfully you did last night at Walter Panas! I know that many of you were skeptical about going to this competition with losing Gina a day before, but you have proven to yourselves that no matter what you will prevail and that you are truly a STRONG team in all aspects (mentally, physically and emotionally)! CAroline, your basket was the best I've seen! Good sticking those stunts even the little errors were not so bad! NExt week, Scarsdale HS...here we come!
Again congratulations and THANK YOU for all you did!

Hey Girls,
I wanted to let you know how truly proud I am of each of you for what you were able to accomplish tonight. I am honored to coach each of you. So many of you girls had to make significant changes to make this routine a success for tomorrow! Gina WE MISS YOU come back soon!!!! I know this team can do ANYTHING they set there minds to. You all step up and set high standards for yourselves and I am proud to be a part of that. Please use all of the lessons you learn here in your everyday lives. Know that when something unfortunate happens, we must pick ourselves up and make it right! Tomorrow you will make your team, parents, community and myself very proud- I AM SURE OF IT! For now....rest up. Get that hair straight, do the POOF and remember to get yourselves mentally and physically ready for this next one!

Its been a while but we have so much to chat about!!!

okay this post is per Alyssa and Angelica's request!!!!

First and Foremost, what a year!!! Girls, I have no idea where to begin... we are the dream team, and rising stars are on this team! Seniors what a great tone you have set in our program, true and serious athletes, and this year among the best Ihave coached in 10 years!!! Yes...it is my 10 year anniversary as a coach! OUr accolades, 2nd place Westlake HS, 3rd place and a bid at Regionals, 2nd place couinty center and wild card winner to the Championship round where we took 3rd!!! 2nd place Croton Harmon and lastly 1st place New Rochelle High School. We are doing great and with only 4 more competitions until nationals, I beleive this is the best Harrison has seen yet!!! can't express my HUSKIE pride...as a former Harrison JV and Varsity cheerleader I can only tell you how things have changed. My class began with the changes, but even we were amateurs compared to what exists now. PLEASE keep this legacy going. We are on an upward rise...Juniors, you must be the rock that grounds us next year, as the seniors were this year. I canot wait for these next competitions. You have made my first year as a mother enjoyable and beleive it or not EASY! I love you all, and sincelrly hope Valentina is as great as each of you.

It's a Girl!!!

Baby Valentina Rosa was born at 5:47 pm (after 17 hours of labor) on August 12th. 7lbs 8oz and 19.5". Mommy, Daddy and baby Valentina are fantastic.

Congratulations girls! What a great camp experience this year! Thank you for making it wonderful for me as a coach and your team as well. Congratualtions on all of the awards and trophies- YOU GIRLS ROCK! I am really looking forward to a phenomenal season with you ladies. Remember open practice Mon, Tues, Thurs 6-9 (if I don't go into labor )Lol.

As for after labor you will be practicing and training with the JV team and coaches for a few weeks!

Congratulations to all who made the 2009 Harrison Cheerleading teams- JV and VARSITY!
Varsity girls- I am very excited to start on our journey towards next season together. I know you will make me proud and represent Harrison Cheerleading to the fullest!

The Alumni dinner was a HUGE success! Thank you to all of you who came to support the graduating senior class and honoring the 1941-1951 cheerleading teams. It was so woderful to see cheerleaders from all years celebrating the tradition of Harrison Cheerleading!

I want to express my gratitude to the team for participating in the Lindsey Bonistall PEACEOUTSIDE CAMPUS walk yesterday! Our efforts and the efforts of everyone who participates helps make college campus's and off campus housing a safer place and this means so much to The Bonistall's and myself. This foundation helps EMPOWER and educate college students around the country . Lindsey was an extraordinary young woman who would have been so proud yesterday of all that took place. The Good Counsel cheerleaders and Harrison made the event more "Lindsey" like with spirit and compassion. Thanks again and lets get going with our competition routine.
I look forward to practice tomorrow with out new mats and please wear Sponsor shirts and white shorts.
